Bolshoi Theater Youth Opera Program

In October 2009, the State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Russia created a Youth Opera Program, within the framework of which young singers and pianists from Russia and the CIS undergo professional development courses.

In addition, each of the participants in the Youth Program has extensive stage practice, performing roles in the theater's premiere and current productions, as well as preparing various concert programs.

Throughout the years of the Youth Program’s existence, the largest teachers, pianists and singers of our time, in demand in the largest theaters in Europe and America, have worked and continue to work with the participants: Evgeny Nesterenko, Irina Bogacheva, Makvala Kasrashvili, Carol Vaness (USA), Neil Shicoff (USA) , Giulio Zappa (Italy), Alessandro Amoretti (Italy), conductors Alberto Zedda (Italy), Vladimir Fedoseev (Russia), Mikhail and Dmitry Yurovsky (Russia), etc.

_____________________________

The Rossini Music Festival has been held in the composer's hometown of Pesaro (Italy) since 1980. The original idea of the festival was to introduce the public to little-known operas by Rossini, which is why the festival was held in collaboration with the music publishing house Ricordi, which supplied the festival with scores. As a result, some of Rossini's unknown operas became part of the standard repertoire.

Since the very foundation of the festival, opera stars of the first magnitude have been participating in it: Marilyn Horne, Ruggero Raimondi, Montserrat Caballé, Juan Diego Flores, Ildar Abdrazakov...

The world press regularly covers all the festival's productions, thereby giving birth to new opera stars.
