Beer tours in Europe. Beer tour to Prague (8 days) Beer tours to Prague

The right to be called Czech beer has earned the products of only a few brands, the most famous of which are Pilsner Urquell and Velkopopovicky Kozel. The product produced in the Czech Republic undergoes strict technological quality control. Even in the most elite Prague restaurants, the price for the best varieties is significantly lower than in European countries, and you will be treated to inexpensive, tasty beer in any drinking establishment. Therefore, travelers from all over the world come to Prague to taste their favorite intoxicating drink.

We invite those who want to learn how real Czech beer is prepared, taste popular varieties and taste exclusive snacks to group beer tours around Prague. The cost of the tour is from €30.

Walking through Prague breweries

Today, three dozen breweries operate in Prague, among them there are those that have been producing beer since the Middle Ages (U Medvidku) and modern ones that were founded more recently (Vinohradsky Pivovar). The Flaku brewery has been pouring the drink continuously for five hundred years. At the Zly Casy establishment, you can treat yourself to delicious products from European producers from fifty taps. Also considered some of the best beer producing establishments in Prague are:

  • Stragov. It is located near Prague Castle on the territory of the monastery and dates back its history from the beginning of the 15th century. The establishment was closed for almost a century, and in 2000 the monastery was reconstructed and a new brewery was built. Visitors are invited to taste the monastery beer and enjoy a hearty lunch in the two-story restaurant or on the outdoor terrace.
  • Two cats. Initially, there was only a restaurant here, the façade of which was decorated with figures of two cats. Not long ago, a small Gothic-style brewery was opened in the building. On a beer tour you will have a pleasant time in a cozy room with vaulted ceilings and picturesque walls. The menu is replete with meat dishes, and you can taste the desired drink not only at the table, but also directly from the tap.
  • Three roses. The intoxicating drink has been brewed in the house on Mala Strana for five centuries. The cozy restaurant serves several original varieties. For its products, produced according to original recipes, the brewery “U Three Roses” received the status of a monastery.
  • New Nestsky. The new restaurant and brewery continues old traditions and is based on the place where in ancient times a special right to brew was issued. The production premises are connected to the restaurant areas through winding labyrinths. You can taste beer, including branded unfiltered beer, in several halls, ordering it to your table in mugs and even kegs. Guests of the establishment are treated to caramel, ginger, coffee and other types of drink.
  • Brewery house. A popular Prague establishment where up to a dozen types of beer are served simultaneously, including nettle, cherry, and wheat. Visitors have the opportunity to try a unique product that completes the fermentation process directly in the bottle. Beer is used in the preparation of signature dishes: soup, sausages and pancakes.

On your Prague beer tour you will be accompanied by professional guides. Tours are conducted in Russian. We have a large selection of travel to cities around the world; a trip can be booked on our website online.

There is an opinion that the most delicious beer is produced and served in Europe. This is not difficult to check. All you have to do is think through the route, buy relatively cheap air tickets (you can do this quickly and profitably on the website aviakassa.net online) and fly out of Ukraine on a beer tour.

Czech

You can start your beer journey from the Czech Republic. This country has its own traditions of drinking the foamy drink. Its own philosophy. And a special relationship with beer. Czech national snacks - hermelin, tatarak, "utopenci" sausages, beer cheese and other dishes with unusual tastes. You can choose a pils (light beer) or order a glass of dark beer. The last option is usually used by girls. But no one forbids you to try all varieties and decide for yourself which is the most delicious.
Germany is another famous “beer” country in Europe. Germans prefer strong, dark beers. But there are other types. The choice is large and varied. Everyone will find a beer to suit their taste and aroma. Traditional snacks - Bavarian sausages, rye crackers with garlic and salt, pretzel, cheese, pork knuckle, stewed cabbage.
It is better to taste German beer in small, colorful pubs. This alone is worth purchasing air tickets and flying to Germany.

Irish beer and local pubs are in no way inferior to Czech and German ones. The local tradition of making and drinking beer has an ancient history. Do you want to experience a special “beer” atmosphere? Fly to Ireland for St. Patrick's Day. Depending on the type of beer, you will be served chicken wings, pork ribs, breaded onion rings, squid, fish, croutons, or the famous Irish steaks.

Beer tours around the cities of Belgium are very interesting. This includes trips to breweries and monasteries where this magical drink is brewed. To understand Belgium, you need to taste the many varieties of local beer. These drinks here are strong and differ from each other in their exquisite aromas. The Belgians themselves can talk about beer for hours. There is a revival of small breweries in the country, and more and more new varieties of this wonderful foamy drink are appearing on sale.

Holland

Holland is a wonderful country where you will be offered delicious light beer. It quickly makes your head spin and stupefies your consciousness. The Dutch serve various fish dishes with beer. These snacks are incredibly tasty and nutritious. Meatballs and snacks are also very popular. If you have booked flights to Amsterdam or another city in the Netherlands, be sure to visit the local beer gardens and give yourself a new gastronomic pleasure.

Austria

Austrian beer traditions go back hundreds of years. The city of Salzburg is considered the beer capital of the country. There are about a dozen breweries here. And a huge number of pubs and restaurants for tasting different varieties of this extraordinary drink. Try it and you won't be able to resist your next mug!

Great Britain, and especially London, are famous for their special pubs. Here you can order beer, cider, ale and other drinks. Snacks include the famous fish and chips, pork ribs, fried onion rings, pickled eggs, nuts and hot cheese. In London pubs it is recommended to try dark beer, it has a special taste here. Be careful, here you will completely forget about time and all your affairs.

You can fly whenever you want for excellent beer. There are flights from Kyiv to all European countries. Sometimes you can “catch” cheap tickets at the ticket office. It's time to give yourself a week to get acquainted with the best beer in Europe!

If earlier beer tours in Europe attracted lovers of foamy drinks only with free tasting, today they give the opportunity to visit breweries, learn more about varieties, menus and local traditions. Some of the most interesting beer tours today take place in Belgium, the Czech Republic and Germany.

Beer tour to Germany

Germany is the leader in world brewing. The country produces over 5,000 brands of foamy drinks. There are more than 1,200 breweries operating on its territory, so beer tours to Germany are very rich and exciting.

Here you can take a tour of one of the largest European breweries - Binding. In Miltenberg you will definitely be taken to the Faust brewery, whose history began more than 350 years ago. In Würzburg you can try Pilsner beer, double bock and yeast wheat beer. Bamberg will captivate you with its local beer, and Nuremberg with its dark golden brown unfiltered drink, bottled straight from a wooden barrel. In the suburbs of Munich, it is worth visiting the Weihenstephan Monastery, which houses the oldest brewery, operating since 1040. At the Technical University of Munich, they even opened a faculty in honor of the monastery, which trains future brewers.

Beer tour to Belgium

This European country differs from the rest in that the beer produced here is stronger - 6-9%. While vacationing in Belgium, visit the Cantillon Brouwerij Brussel brewery, which is famous for producing lambic - spontaneously fermented beer.

The De Halve Maan Brouwerij Brugge brewery will delight guests with delicious strong beers Straffe Hendrik and Brugse Zot.
