Vadik swam to a point clearly marked by Tolya Moreman. Our Tolya Karas disappeared somewhere with a little cry. I told him a hundred times that people don’t go to the Dnieper with a float boat, but he stubbornly insisted and that’s it. Until the evening I ran around looking for a place from the shore. I caught a perch and a roach. I ran three kilometers. He appeared in the evening, stood next to me and began to whine: “It would be better if I went to Krutaya Balka, it would be better if I...” I would kill!!! I tormented my reels for a long time, got confused, broke off, hung springs on a tree, climbed them, hung above my head on branches over a cliff, like a monkey. It’s not possible to get close to the water there at all, unless you have a level in mountaineering.

I was slowly biting. The assortment was wide: crucian carp, roach, silver bream, bream (released), catfish (released), goby (thrown away). Moreover, the bull pecked at the carp reel! On the second day I figured this out and started attaching the foam. The catfish and gobies stopped biting, but the silver bream, crucian carp and roach began to bite. Entire islands of grass were carried along the water, gear was knocked down and torn off. Within a day I lost all the springs and two coils. This is despite the fact that the leash on the paternoster was 0.22, flurry! I lifted a stool on it! And on the spring there are generally ropes, and the main fishing line is 0.35, lifting snags. And she broke it all off! It seems to me that there was something lying there to the left, and it was pecking just under it.

Vadik arrived already in the dark. Or rather, he arrived. He parked the bus in the only place at a distance where everyone launches boats. There's something like a beach there. But it’s not advisable to fish – it’s shallow. Vadik brought such a catch that we were speechless: eight bream from a kilo to two. And a bunch of “trifles”: crucian carp, three to five hundred grams, roach, silver bream. I was so upset that I didn’t take my camera out right away. While the heartbeat was calming down, Vadik had already cleaned the fish, salted the bream, and took away the small change for the fish soup. The soup turned out great! Only by that time we had almost gotten into a fight with Tolik Karas and my mood was completely at zero. Moreover, Vadik refused to take me on the boat tomorrow. He said that even he couldn’t row against the current with such ballast.

We ate and decided to try to catch a catfish. It's good that it didn't bite! I don’t know, but I was still scared to look down, especially since in the darkness I completely lost my bearings - where was the water and where was the concrete. Vadik stood on the next “cube”. Tolik Karas got underfoot, whined, and swore. Everyone knows that I can't stand swearing! In the end I sent him. I went to Vadik. But he “closed the valve” for me - he directed his gear. “Sputnik” took off, somewhere during the reconnaissance I saw a carp being dragged. Yes, and I almost forgot: fishing there is paid, they collect 20 hryvnia from boats, but not from the shore. But Vadik swam out after lunch, they had already packed up. And the next day no one collected it. At least I was lucky in this regard.

I sat until one in the morning. In proud loneliness. The men arrived before midnight. I had a bunch of worms eat up shells, and I took out whole garlands of them. Nothing else. At one o'clock I went to bed. I passed out so much that I woke up when it was completely light, for which I later received a beating from Yura Chancellor. He said that the bite there starts around three in the morning and stops as soon as the sun rises. And so it happened. I was sitting on the fishing rods at 5:30. The bite happened immediately. Everything was pecked. And I finally lost all the thrill of the “high-flying” world. You see it right away, this fish, as soon as it appears from the water! You estimate the weight and then act according to the situation. You lower the rod and reel in the line to the maximum. There remains about a meter and a half there. Then, smoothly, but with effort, you throw the fish up. And there she almost always gets off the hook. The main thing is to drop it into the depths of the pier, then put it in a bucket of water for holding, or in a landing net if it doesn’t fit into the bucket, and continue fishing. It’s true that straight from the landing net to the little garden, but in a bucket you can collect a few pieces, then take out the little garden. It’s hard (watch the video). During all this time I had one “almost large” one. The 700 gram bream broke off as soon as I started to lift it. A man came and told me that he had a floating landing net with floats and ropes, and he puts fish in there if they are big. Yes, the fishing there is completely different, the equipment is completely different...
