Itapua is a small golf club located in the east of the Brazilian city of Salvador, Bahia state. Owned by the luxury Sofitel hotel, the course is open all year round and attracts golfers from all over the region.
The Itapua Club began its work in 1990, for a long time remaining almost the only golf course in all of El Salvador. The situation has changed little over the years, so Itapua continues to be a great success. The field is located in a very picturesque area, surrounded by a belt of palm trees. There are also four small ponds on the club grounds that decorate the landscape.
In general, the Itapua club should fully satisfy the needs of non-professional players and ordinary golf fans. And although Itapua is somewhat inferior in terms of service to more luxurious golf clubs, this site does not feel a shortage of players. The club also has a small bar where you can rest and refresh yourself after the game.

The Cubana establishment, located on Rua Alfredo de Brito 12, is open daily from 8.00 to 22.00. This is an old-fashioned ice cream parlor, or sorvetoria, that sells about 28 types of homemade goodies.
Bars in El Salvador
- Bar da Ponta is located near Trapiche Adelaide. This is a fairly popular place where you can people watch and show off, have a drink, and enjoy the magnificent view of the bay.
- "Beco dos Artistas" (Beco dos Artistas) - near Campo Grande. This is the territory of sexual minorities, and there is quite a diverse crowd here. The establishments are open only on Fridays and Saturdays. There are many different bars here. It's best to come here around 10 pm, as around midnight the area empties and people head to other clubs.
- Bohemia Music Bar (Music bar "Bohemia"), Jardim. A cozy atmosphere, live music and a varied menu are the key to the popularity of this establishment. Here at the entrance they often require an identity document.

During the day, as the name suggests, the establishment is a seafood market.
- Sankofa African Bar e Restaurante (“Sankofp African Bar e Restaurante”). Address: st. Rua Frei Vicente 7. Located in the center of Peolurinho. Here you can enjoy live music performed by groups of different genres (salsa, samba, reggae, zouk, semba), and DJs who play African, Brazilian and pop music. The establishment serves delicious African food and drinks, and the walls are decorated with African flags, maps and various works of art. There is a projector on the top floor, so sometimes you can watch a documentary or feature film.
- Hostel Galeria 13 (Hostel Galeria 13), Peolurinho, st. Rua da ordem terceira, 23. The owner of the establishment promises that in the near future sports channels will be broadcast here, so you can watch European football matches.
