We went on April 24. Excellent tour of content and organization! The guide is just super! Knowledge of the material is intertwined with humor. It definitely won't be boring. We didn’t even notice how we got to Krumlov, and it took 2-3 hours to get there. The medieval town is impressive, as is the castle. I recommend! The main thing is to be lucky with the guide.

So far it was the most beautiful place in the Czech Republic!) The city really is like a bright box, winter also added charm. It’s a bit slippery, really, because there are a lot of inclines, but narrow streets and many interesting corners brighten up this tiny minus. The guide told, showed and explained everything perfectly. The group was large, but that didn't stop us.

Good afternoon! Congratulations to Megatour on the upcoming 2019! 12/21/2018. I visited Cesky Krumlov and the castle and Hluboka, I purchased the excursion in advance via the Internet, there were no problems. The bus was small, it was very convenient, it’s good that the group was small! The guide Larisa treated everyone with warmth and care! The route is very interesting, I recommend it, it’s very nice that there is no “imposition” to visit any restaurants, only answers to questions and explanations.... the castle is very interesting, in winter, of course, not all the halls are shown, but it was enough to get an idea! I’m satisfied with the excursion, it’s very emotional!

Went to Krumlov and Hluboka Castle. Our guide was a wonderful man, Vladimir. Knowledgeable in almost all topics and can support any topic. A true professional, perfectly disciplined and excellent at managing time, which we always lack. Always offers options for spending time. Those who wanted to go to the castle went to see the castle - the rest went for a walk and this was also an excellent decision, because... the weather was gorgeous. On the bus they asked Vladimir to tell him something :), because it was interesting to some, and had a soothing effect on others, which is undoubtedly a big plus. Whoever wanted what he wanted got it. Well done Megatour!

We bought 4 sightseeing tours from Mega Tour in Prague, Krumlov and Hluboka Castle, Munich and the castles of Bavaria, Dresden. We were completely delighted with both the places and the professionalism of the guides. Each guide has extensive knowledge and is distinguished by charisma, artistry, and humor. The novel showed Prague and Krumlov in an interesting way, Natalya Pavlova simply spoke fabulously about the Czech Republic and Germany on a two-day tour, it is clear that a person lives by his work, cares about people, and knows the business! You won’t be bored on the bus either; Natalya will turn on a disc with a review film, or comedies, Natalya told us what and where to buy, where exactly you should go in your free time, where which stores are so that you can buy what you want economically. Guide to Dresden-Svetlana is also an interesting person, she tells something from her own life connected with these places, she presents the material in an interesting way, absolutely not boring! I definitely recommend Mega Tour!

Definitely worth your time and attention! The castle is incredibly beautiful, both outside and inside. Moving from one hall to another, our small group of 15 people (we were lucky, as there were few of us at the end of October and no one joined us) constantly groaned with delight. We even managed to fully explore Krumlov in the time allotted to us, but without lunch, of course. Truly a fabulous city. Small and cozy. I highly recommend it!

We bought an excursion from Mega Tour, but it was conducted by another partner company. 08/24/2018 Thanks to the guide Margarita for the interesting story and positive mood. Hluboka Castle is worthy of admiration for the craftsmen who created the interiors of this castle - all rooms are decorated with wood with incredible, skillful carvings! Surprise and beauty! Cesky Krumlov is a pleasant, cozy, fairy-tale town where you can admire the architecture and taste delicious fried Camembert and smoked beer. I really enjoyed the excursion.

Thanks to the guide Valera - the story was very interesting. And the beer is very tasty, I recommend it. Krumlov is very good - it’s a pity you don’t have enough time. Hluboka Castle is worth a visit - the interiors are rich and preserved to this day. In general, the excursion is a must-see.

Thank you for the excellent organization of excursions! Individual approach (meeting at the collection point, accompaniment), prompt responses, everything is competent, clear and understandable. The Hluboká nad Vltavou Castle is festive, bright, solemn, the interiors are chic, the excursion is recorded by a professional actor’s voice, I liked this presentation, the only thing, in my opinion, is that groups for going to the castle itself should be formed smaller, 12-15 people each (for example, start with different sides to save time). A million enthusiastic words have already been said about Krumlov, I’m just joining in) I think that this town will be pleasant and charming at any time of the year and everyone will find something of their own in it. Thank you again for such good emotions!!!)))))))

We went on excursions to Cesky Krumlov and Hluboka. I liked: the opportunity to buy a tour via the Internet, very convenient; well organized; tour to the most beautiful places; friendly guide and careful driver. We didn’t like the tour of Hluboka at all; a Czech lady took us around the castle and played a recording in Russian on a tape recorder.

We arrived in Prague on April 26th. Immediately, we booked excursions online on the MEGA tour website. The good news was that when ordering 3 excursions at once, we received a gift - another one for free. The first excursion was a walk around Prague in a small group. I highly recommend this format for getting to know Prague - we walked slowly, no one was looking for anyone, a wonderful, knowledgeable guide, overall 5 with many advantages! Then there were trips to Kutna Hora, Karlovy Vary, an evening boat trip, the Kozel brewery and a walk through the Jewish quarter. Everything was great, the guides were very interesting, thank you very much to MEGA tour!

I bought excursions online via the Internet 2 weeks before the trip. We were in Prague from 10/29/18 to 11/02/18. We took 3 excursions for two: Three capitals on the Danube, Czech Krumlov and Hluboka nad Vltavou, Kutna Hora. It so happened that all excursions were conducted by guides from other travel agencies. (I think there were not enough people and we were transferred to others), but this did not affect the quality of services. The first excursion was conducted by Margarita. A very professional guide. It is obvious that she knows history very well, talks interestingly and she likes it. I would like to give advice - November is not the best month for excursions. You arrive in Budapest in the evening, it’s dark (Hungarians change the time) And if it rains or fogs, you won’t really see anything. We’re lucky, being in the lights at night is a miracle! The rest of the excursions also went well (guide Roman) and (guide Vladimir). An excursion to Kutna Hora is not for everyone. It is overpriced. The Temple of Barbara and the ossuary are what we saw. Compared to other excursions, it loses. (But this is just my opinion). I would like to express my gratitude to Mega Tour for the timely conduct of excursions and for the discount provided , and this is a TRANSFER from and to the airport. Just well done! They arrived on time, met us and drove us away. Thank you very much again! Reliable travel agency, keep it up!

02/10/2018 I already wrote a review, sent Mom on the Kutna Hora excursion, and now Dad went on a proven tour and was just as pleased!))). The guide this time was Olga, I heard only positive reviews about Olga and a good impression from the trip. Thank you! P.S. The only thing is that the bus is not very comfortable, it’s too small. Apparently it depends on the number of people...

An excellent excursion to Kutna Hora with guide Maxim, my daughter and I really enjoyed it. Everything went perfectly: from the meeting in the morning until the very end of the excursion, Maxim talked a lot and interestingly about the sights, gave many interesting facts from the history of the country. Great. It was interesting, first of all, thanks to the guide Anna, she told a very interesting story and gave a lot of information - in general, it was not boring. The Ossuary is definitely worth visiting at least once in your lifetime. Kutna Hora somehow reminded me of Sighnaghi with its streets (without the cathedral, of course) - there is a lot to see. The castle was also impressive, it stands in a very beautiful place, there is also something to see inside, although of course it cannot be compared with Hluboka nad Vltavou or Karlštejn.

The excursion to Kutna Hora is very interesting. Everything, of course, depends on the guide, so I want to thank our guide Yulia for an interesting excursion this fall, I wish there were more such guides! Before my trip to Prague, to be honest, I knew little about this country, but in 3 days I learned a lot of interesting and useful information. The excursion is not tiring, we return to the city around 16-30, so there is still half a day left to explore something else. I recommend!

I didn’t want to go, mainly because of the church with bones, the Ossuary, but my husband persuaded me. I liked the city itself, quite interesting and pretty. Ossuary, of course, is not for everyone. I wouldn’t recommend it to impressionable people, but Kutna Mountain itself, yes.

It's always difficult to write good reviews. The excursion is very interesting, the objects are worth attention, the guide is a smart, educated girl with good speech and a broad outlook. Be sure to visit the restaurant with a fireplace on the mountain: the food is fabulous, the prices are very reasonable. Additional costs: Ossuary - 90 CZK; St. Barbara's Cathedral -60 CZK; Castle (without the possibility of taking photographs) - 150 CZK, with a photo 195 CZK. On May 9, 2019, we went on an excursion to Karlovy Vary and the Krusovice brewery. The excursion was purchased from the Mega Tour company, a group of tourists from this company was combined with another company that conducted this excursion. Great bus, knowledgeable guide, experienced driver, well organized tasting at the brewery, beautiful Karlovy Vary. But the excursion did not begin in accordance with the program: even before leaving Prague, the group was brought for a whole hour to the Museum of Czech Crafts (I think that’s the name of this exhibition selling jewelry and other products). This forced stop was not included in the program, and this hour would have been very useful in Karlovy Vary. The guide did not ask the tourists for their consent to deviate from the program and actually violate the contract, and did not respond to the question of whether it was too long for this event. Please take into account the situation described and do not shorten your review if you publish it.

Interesting castle. Very cozy, well maintained, the castle is owned by the state. Interesting exposition. After fleeing France from the guillotine de Roganov, Sikhrov became their family castle. The Rogans are an illustrious ducal Breton family name. You can appreciate the excellent taste of the people who lived here for yourself. The Sviyany beer factory, although ancient, experienced its revival 20 years ago. The owners restored the brewing recipes. The employees enthusiastically talk about their company, so you can be sure that beer is not made from powder. For me the tour is too long. Our group perked up only at the barrel from which we took samples. Yes! There are also interesting robotic manipulators with the names Helmut and Hans in the finished goods warehouse. I'm not a beer drinker, but it was useful for general development.

Excursions around the Czech Republic from Prague

If Prague is the heart of the Czech Republic, then the Czech Republic is the heart of Europe. Located in the very center of the Old World, this country, consisting of three historical regions - Bohemia, Moravia and part of Silesia - never ceases to attract tourists with its beautiful sights, which are found in literally every city.

We, the Megatour company, invite all guests of the capital to take excursions with us in the Czech Republic, which you will want to repeat again and again with each visit. There are a lot of memorable and simply interesting places in it. Not to mention the fact that each such place certainly has its own story that is worth hearing.

Interesting, exciting, creative

We offer only interesting, exciting and creative excursions from Prague to the Czech Republic in Russian, and this is the constant credo of our travel company.

Just 150 kilometers from Prague is the pearl of Saxony - the city of Dresden. Destroyed during the Second World War, but carefully and meticulously restored, this city is considered one of the most beautiful in Germany. And its main treasure is considered to be the world-famous Picture Gallery of the Old Masters with the best creations of the great Raphael - the Sistine Madonna. The cost of an excursion to Dresden is from 40 euros. Additionally, tickets to the painting gallery are paid - 10 euros.

I would like to tell you about several interesting excursion services that can be ordered in Prague.

1. A walk along the river (motor ships, boats and catamarans).

In the summer, Prague offers great entertainment - a boat ride on the Vltava. The berths are located to the left and right of Cechuv most.

And there is a booth selling tickets right at the beginning of the bridge. An hour-long boat trip costs approximately 9-10 euros per person. The route of the ship we sailed on was something like this: the ship departs from the pier and sails first to the left - towards the Charles Bridge and sails under it. This is the most picturesque part of the route. Beautiful views of Prague Castle, the embankments and Prague Venice (the canal near Kampa Island).

Closer to the National Theater the ship turns around (there are already rapids there and you cannot swim beyond them). Turning around, it swims in the opposite direction, swims past the departure pier and follows it. He slowly swims to the next bridge (Stefanikuv) and, before reaching the island, makes a U-turn. The end of the voyage is in the same place where it began - at Cechuv most. (From there you can then have a very pleasant walk along the embankments).

The upper deck of a pleasure boat is open, and the lower deck is closed. During the process, the guide talks about something, drinks and food are served (for a fee). Overall the sailing is quite enjoyable and the photos come out beautiful. Especially the close-up photos of the Charles Bridge pillars, as well as photos of seagulls and people sailing on boats and catamarans. By the way, taking a boat on the river is also a good idea. There is also the opportunity to sail on a boat with dinner and a jazz orchestra. But everything is much more expensive there. And there are also mini boats (as in the photo above).

About boating.

Boats and catamarans can be rented, for example, on Slovansky island. It's right next to the Legii Bridge and the National Theater (Národní třída). There is, however, one popular trick with boats. You find out the price, take a boat, three of you ride, and then it turns out that it was the price for one person. Therefore, check in advance whether the quoted price is the price for the WHOLE boat and whether it is final.

2. Excursions around Prague on Segways.

I saw such excursions in Tallinn, and then I saw them in Prague. This is a very popular topic now. The Seagway is something like a two-wheeled electric scooter. It has a gyroscope, so keeping balance on it is not that difficult. But you need to practice a little. Overall - a very cool thing! If you don’t have much time, or you’re passing through Prague, then on such an excursion in 2 hours you can see everything that hikers usually cover in the whole day. But at the same time, you won’t lose the sensations (like during a bus excursion), and you won’t get tired.

In Prague, I found excursions from this company (photo of the “cowboy” and the route - from their website www.eurosegway.cz).

There are four excursion options (Russian-speaking guides are available):

  • for 30 minutes (Old Town + embankment + Powder Tower + Old Jewish Quarter Josefov + Paris Street + Old Town Square). Price 22 euros/person.
  • for 60 min. (everything included in 30 minutes + Charles Bridge + Kampa Island with park + watermill + Kafka Museum + National Theater + Wenceslas Square + John Lennon Wall), 40 euros.
  • for 90 min. (all the sights of an hour-long trip + St. Nicholas Church + Prague Castle with a viewing platform where you can take a photo from above with the whole city in the background), 50 euros.
  • for 2 hours (+ Petrin Gardens).

All prices are for one. And from 3 people they offer discounts. In addition, everyone is given a free helmet, a raincoat (you never know if it rains) and is taught how to ride a Segway (training is an additional 15 minutes to the excursion time and is included in the price).

3. Inspection of Prague from a hot air balloon.

Near the Kafka Museum (near the Charles Bridge) there is a white round balloon on a leash. It allows two extreme sports enthusiasts to rise to a height of 60 meters and view the surroundings from above. It looks something like this from the outside (my photo).

Essentially, two open seats are attached to the ball (like a ski lift). Below is a small photo preview, and at the link you can see what it looks like directly from a balloon and rotate the panoramas in all directions: www.360cities.net/image/prague-from-a-balloon

Yes, the price of this adventure in 2013 was 900 Czech crowns per nose (that is, at the exchange rate of 27.5 = 33 euros). This year's season has already ended, the ball will start operating in May 2014. Ball website: www.baloncentrum.cz/upoutany-balon.html

But, frankly speaking, I think it’s still a little expensive. It’s more pleasant (and cheaper) to just take the funicular up to Petrin Hill and have dinner there for the same money with a view of Prague :). Moreover, the height of the hill is significantly higher than the balloon rises (the hill is 300 meters high, and the restaurant is located somewhere around 150-200 meters). But for extreme sports fans and those who are not afraid to ride in the open cabins of the Moscow-850 Ferris wheel, the ball will also certainly be interesting.

One of the informative and useful excursions is a walking tour of the old or “Golden” city. When visiting Prague, take a walk in the Jewish (Joseph) quarter; many historical monuments have been preserved and deserve attention. Adolf Schicklgruber in Prague intended to create a museum of an “extinct race,” which is why the destructive wave that swept across Europe partially spared the city. Here you can see six synagogues, the Jewish Town Hall, the Jewish Cemetery, the Royal Court, the Prince's Court, the first building built in the Cubist style, astronomical clocks, churches, Charles Bridge and much more. As you can see, the list is quite large, although most likely I didn’t even include a hundredth of all the attractions in it.

It would be better for me to contact a private guide, so the excursion turns out not to be dryly official, but pleasantly friendly. The cost fluctuates around 80 euros.
